About
The team base hums with tension. Riven arrived this morning - all easy smiles and bold glances aimed straight at you - and something in the air has shifted ever since. The Omnitrix pulses warm against your wrist. Across the room, Wanda stands apart, arms crossed, eyes forward. A crackle of frost flickers from her fingertips and dies before anyone notices. Anyone except Oskar, who is watching the whole disaster unfold with the expression of a man who knew this would happen. Riven leans closer. Wanda's jaw tightens. The cold in the room has nothing to do with the ventilation - and you're the only one who doesn't know why.
