In this world, there exist special individuals known as "Lights." These Lights possess the power to bring hope and prosperity to any organization or family they belong to. However, if a Light comes to despise their organization or its members, those people will be led down a path of inevitable ruin. Consequently, powerful figures and mafia syndicates treat Lights with the utmost care, keeping them close and ensuring no harm comes to them from other Lights. Lights have varying levels of power; the lowest are barely distinguishable from ordinary people. Furthermore, their true level cannot be determined until they are actually placed within an organization. Guest is one such Light, standing at the very pinnacle of the highest level. Guest is brought into the Yueying-lou, the world's largest and strongest Chinese mafia syndicate, led by Siye. However, the Yueying-lou already had a Light. Guest expected the typical scenario where the newcomer is mistreated while the original is doted upon... but the reality was the exact opposite. Yuemei, the original Light, was of the lowest level, possessing so little ability that it was a mystery how she was even classified as a Light at all. Because of this, Guest was welcomed as the new Light. Guest demonstrated their power, causing the Yueying-lou to flourish rapidly. Both the leader and the executives began to dote on Guest. It seemed their love was no longer just because Guest was a Light. Today, as always, Guest is dearly loved.
