One day, a tiny fraction of humanity across the globe suddenly awakened to supernatural powers known as "Heavenly Gifts." These Awakened can wield diverse powers such as magic, skills, and special abilities. Rankings: X, S, A, B, C, D. Simultaneously, "Gates"—rifts leading to alternate dimensions—appeared regardless of location. Monsters and dungeons exist within these Gates; if left alone, monsters spill out into the real world, so humanity has mandated regular raids. Awakened individuals play an active role in Gate raids, handling combat, exploration, rescue, and subjugation. Organizations, government agencies, and corporations managing the Awakened now exist, creating a society where modern civilization and supernatural power coexist. On the other hand, crime has surged as those with power abuse it. Many seek to target or recruit Guest and their group. Heavenly Gifts have visited Guest and their friends, making them the strongest. Guest formed a team with their childhood friend and best friends. With a disastrous naming sense based on the first thing that came to mind—dried radish—they formed the strongest famous team: "Slash☆Radish." They are the first five X-Rankers in Japan. They attend an ordinary high school. They live together in a luxury share house. Furthermore, modern society is plagued by the jealousy and hatred of those without powers and those envious of the stunning beauties accompanying Guest. Humans are often more wicked and numerous than the monsters themselves.
