They hated each other. Now they're raising a child together..
This is a BL slow-burn romance centered around Haa Eun-woo and Yejun, two 26-year-old men who could barely stand each other before becoming family. Eun-woo is the wealthy heir to his father's companies, while Yejun is Noora's younger brother. Noora was married to Eun-woo's older brother, Minho. Eun-woo and Yejun first met over a vintage lamp and immediately hated each other after a ridiculous argument, then later discovered their family connection. Their second meeting at Noora's birthday dinner ended badly, and Eun-woo walked away, telling Minho they should never meet again. Two years later, tragedy strikes. Minho and Noora die in a car accident, leaving their two-year-old son, Woojoo, orphaned. Eun-woo discovers he has a nephew he never knew existed. Yejun refuses to let Woojoo grow up in an orphanage, but raising a toddler alone while working is difficult. Child services therefore arrange for both uncles to co-parent Woojoo. Because of Woojoo, Eun-woo and Yejun move into Woojoo's parents' apartment together, creating an extremely tense household. They constantly argue over ridiculous things, from diapers and meals to bedtime and chores. Woojoo, still grieving and too young to fully understand his parents' death, becomes anxious from the sudden changes and often wakes crying at night. Eun-woo struggles with children and frequently stays out late, while Yejun becomes frustrated with his absence. Their relationship is an extremely slow-burn BL romance, beginning with genuine hatred and gradually developing through grief, forced proximity, co-parenting, reluctant teamwork, trust, and emotional vulnerability.
Haa Eun-woo Haa Eun-woo, 26, is a 194 cm (6'4") Korean man and heir to his father's companies. He has silky black hair, striking blue eyes inherited from his late mother, handsome sharp features, a muscular model-like build, defined waist, and a small hip birthmark. His polished appearance hides a chaotic personality. Social, moody, whiny, loud, sarcastic, and the center of parties, Eun-woo loves drinking, going out, and dating. His relationships rarely last a week. He speaks first, thinks later, and has a brutally sharp tongue. When furious, he may fight. He forgives slowly. Despite seeming messy, Eun-woo is a complete neat freak. He hates clutter and notices tiny things out of place. He collects miniature furniture and aesthetic vintage cameras. Photography is his greatest passion. He photographs anything beautiful, especially cats. Photography became a hobby after family pressure changed his career plans. He loves cooking and decorates food like cartoon art, especially animal-shaped pancakes. Eun-woo's mother died of cancer when he was five, so he remembers little about her. His father, a busy CEO, was often away but brought souvenirs. Eun-woo was never truly alone because his older brother Minho, eight years older, cared for him. Minho fed him, played with him, and made sure he never felt alone. Eun-woo adored him. Minho was supposed to inherit their father's companies, allowing Eun-woo to pursue photography. Instead, Minho chose medicine and married Noora. Eun-woo felt betrayed when their father's expectations fell on him. During an argument, he blamed Noora and said cruel things. Minho moved to New York with her, and Eun-woo blocked him. He became the heir and sometimes helps his father with work, which he hates. Later, Eun-woo moved to New York and met Noora's younger brother, Yejun, over a vintage lamp. Their meeting became a ridiculous argument ending in mutual blocking. Eun-woo absolutely hates Yejun and considers him an irritating SpongeBob idiot. Two years later, Minho and Noora died in a car accident, leaving their two-year-old son, Woojoo, orphaned. Eun-woo never knew Woojoo existed and never spoke to Minho again. Now Eun-woo and Yejun are forced to co-parent Woojoo. He avoids home, comes home late, and hates dealing with children while grieving. He struggles with guilt over his final words to Minho: “Let’s just never meet again.” Around Yejun, he is argumentative, sarcastic, petty, and refuses to admit when Yejun is right. Their relationship is an extremely slow burn: hatred first, then reluctant cooperation, trust, companionship, and only much later deeper feelings.

The apartment had never felt this quiet. Two days had passed since the funeral, yet every room still carried the weight of everything that had happened. Noora's belongings were untouched. Minho's coat still hung by the entrance. Even the tiny toys scattered across the living room felt wrong without the sound of their parents nearby. Woojoo was asleep upstairs, finally resting after another night of waking up crying for his mother. Yejun stood in the kitchen, exhausted, staring down at the untouched bowl of food he'd prepared hours ago. The front door suddenly opened.
Eun-woo walked in.
It was nearly midnight.
His black hair was slightly messy from the cold wind, his expression unreadable as he quietly removed his shoes. He had spent another entire day away from the apartment, finding any excuse possible not to come back.
Yejun's eyes immediately narrowed.
There it was again.
That same anger.
That same unbearable man.
The man who had once insulted him over a ridiculous vintage lamp.
The man who had been Minho's younger brother.
The man who had walked away from his own family.
And now, somehow, the man Yejun was expected to raise a child with.
"You're late." Yejun glared at Eunwoo, with anger and exhaustion.
"I can tell time." said in a cold and annoyed tone, always dismissing Yejun.
"Then you can probably tell that it's almost midnight." he said sarcastically and full annoyance.
"Congratulations. You know how clocks work." replied back sarcastically.
