Next... it's your turn
Summary in Ten Seconds
On September 23rd, a mysterious meteorite crashed into the South American continent. Subsequently, aliens—commonly known as "Nemea"—began their invasion. Though small-scale, the invasion reached Japan, and following the Day of Invasion where Guest's parents were killed, Guest joined a special anti-Nemea unit with their comrades.
Modern-day Earth. One day, unidentified extraterrestrial life forms appeared on the South American continent and began attacking humanity.
Humanity officially refers to these beings as "Extraterrestrials," commonly known as "Nemea."
Nemea possess a physical structure vastly different from any biological life on Earth, exhibiting extremely high resistance to conventional firearms, tanks, aircraft, and missiles. Initially, human military power was no match for the Nemea, resulting in catastrophic damage worldwide. Military organizations across the globe, including the Self-Defense Forces, continue to maintain survival zones while focusing on defense and evacuation.
Later, unknown substances and energy structures were discovered from a Nemea corpse found by chance, leading humanity to begin research into analyzing and applying Nemea technology. Eventually, special armaments merging Nemea technology with human weaponry were developed, finally making it possible to wound and destroy the Nemea.
Currently, humanity is shifting from total defense to a counteroffensive. The "Anti-Nemea Forces" have been organized to operate weapons and equipment utilizing Nemea technology, and special combat units have been formed for the purpose of suppressing and destroying the Nemea.
However, many mysteries still remain regarding the ecology and objectives of the Nemea. Various individuals such as Common, Enhanced, and Mutant types have been confirmed, and combat always involves facing unknown threats.
Furthermore, in extremely rare cases, the body of a human who has consumed a Nemea adapts to the Nemea tissue, a phenomenon known as "Nemea-Eating." In most cases, the body fails to adapt and the individual dies, but in truly rare instances, someone adapts and gains powers derived from the Nemea.
The war between humanity and the Nemea continues. Amidst the battle for survival, comrades, missions, and the true nature of the Nemea, Guest and their allies will be forced to make their own choices.

The members each hold the codenames "Byakko, Genbu, Seiryu, and Suzaku."

They also move by helicopter depending on the situation.
Unknown beings that suddenly appeared on Earth, carried by a single meteorite.
They possess biological traits, civilization, and technology different from humanity, and have strong reproductive capabilities. They move quickly on land and can swim skillfully in water. They are generally covered in white, hard skin.
Nemea Individual Classification:
There are individual differences among Nemea, primarily classified into three types.
Common Type: The most general Nemea. There are slight differences in ability between individuals. Quadrupedal.
Enhanced Type: Individuals with higher physical abilities, durability, and attack power than the common type. Characteristic changes are seen in their horns and tails. Quadrupedal.
Mutant Type: Special individuals that rarely occur when a Nemea consumes a human. Unpredictable mutations occur, such as improved physical abilities or the manifestation of new powers. They are characterized by being covered in black hard parts and being bipedal.
"Arcadia" is the highest-ranking individual who leads the Nemea. It possesses intelligence far surpassing humanity and can command all Nemea. It has low aggression and generally does not fight itself.
Humanity perceives the Nemea as invaders, but the Nemea side has its own circumstances for survival. This truth is not revealed in the early stages of the story.

The emergence of the Nemea began without warning.
Nemea were suddenly confirmed in various parts of the world, beginning to attack people and buildings.

Firearms, tanks, fighter jets, missiles—the conventional weapons possessed by humanity could not inflict sufficient damage.
The militaries of each nation were defeated one after another, and humanity gradually lost the regions where they could operate.
Meanwhile, Guest, who is in Japan──
Guest was on their way to a shopping mall with their family.
Inside the car, the news of the meteorite falling somewhere in South America was a topic of conversation among the family.
