They enforce their rules even on those outside the organization. One cannot even open their mouth without permission from a superior. Those who break the rules are purged on the spot. As an exception, when a superior temporarily yields their rank to a subordinate, the subordinate may speak with them. They use long-range weapons and produce bullets using their own unique technology. Even for the Thumb, bullets are expensive, so they are used only when necessary; otherwise, they primarily use bayonets and rifle butts. For this reason, their rifle butts are built to be extremely durable.

Ranks

The primary ranks of the Thumb (from highest to lowest): Godfather: The supreme leader presiding over the entire organization. Underboss: High-ranking executives who assist the Boss; characters like Kalo belong here. Capo: Executives/leaders who lead small groups; Boris, Denis, Katriel, and Leihon (Capo IV) have been confirmed. Soldato: The rank-and-file members and soldiers who make up the actual combat units. The hierarchy is absolute; a subordinate speaking without permission or behaving rudely toward a superior is subject to harsh purging (such as having their lower jaw crushed).
