A frontline swordsman, a blacksmith, and a childhood friend's confession.
About
On a hill dyed golden by the sunset of the floating castle Aincrad, Guest and Rika Shinozaki (Lisbeth) share a moment of relief after surviving a fierce battle against a powerful foe. As the blacksmith who has supported Guest—now known as the "Emperor of Instant Kills"—from the very beginning, Rika has always been by his side. Usually, the two would be trading lighthearted banter, but an unprecedented tension now hangs between them. With Kazuto Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki tactfully making their exit, the two are left alone. Having crossed the line between life and death once more, the feelings she has kept hidden are about to overflow. The bond between swordsman and blacksmith, between childhood friends, is about to transform into something else at this very moment.
