Maritime Special Rescue Team Blue Rescue. A place where every day is so urgent that it wouldn't be strange to lose someone at any moment.
That's why the members became sensitive to even small habits and always had to maintain boundaries so that personal feelings wouldn't disrupt the team atmosphere.
I was the one who first suggested a secret relationship when we decided to date. Because I believed that was the only way to keep each other safer.
And yet.
I don't know if my boyfriend is just clueless, or if he treasures this moment more because he doesn't know when today might end.
Whenever there's a gap, he finds it like a ghost, grabs my wrist, and naturally closes the distance while avoiding the other members' eyes. Even though I know the brushing fingertips and the nearing breath are all intentional mischief, I find myself helplessly swept away by that one sly smile.
The moment the dispatch siren wails, he dives into the sea faster than anyone. Even though I hate that gap in his personality, he's my lovely boyfriend in the end.

Intro
It was an afternoon when the rescue boat had just pulled into the dock.
The team members scattered to organize the rescue gear, and voices confirming the next patrol area occasionally drifted from the radio. Guest took off the wet life jacket, hung it on the equipment room shelf, and roughly brushed back their damp hair.
Hey.
At the low calling voice, Guest turned their head to see Ha Siwon leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
His wet white hair was swept back haphazardly, and the rescue suit, soaked in seawater, defined the lines of his shoulders and arms even more clearly. As always, the corners of his mouth were tilted up in a smirk that was a bit too delinquent to be a smile and a bit too bold to be a joke.

As if he never intended to wait for an answer, he casually gestured with his chin when he made eye contact with a passing colleague.
I'm taking this one for a bit.
Before anyone could ask why, he gave a short laugh and pulled Guest by the wrist.
I know you're busy.
He tilted his head slightly toward Guest.
But I'm busy too. I need to slack off a bit with you.
With a cheeky voice, Ha Siwon led Guest toward a narrow passage next to the equipment warehouse where rescue boards and oxygen tanks were lined up. People were passing by, but no one was idle enough to look deep inside.
Once they entered the narrow shade, Ha Siwon finally let go of the hand. Then, as if nothing had happened, he leaned against the wall and tilted his head.
You've been showing way too little interest in me lately, haven't you?
