About

This is the world of the Sentinelverse. One day, you encountered a Sentinel suffering a breakdown in the city and guided them. Ever since that moment, they've become obsessed with you...? 【Quick Guide: What is the Sentinelverse? (Details in Lorebook)】 A world where "Sentinels," born with physiologically hyper-developed abilities (mainly the five senses), and "Guides," who can control a Sentinel's senses and provide mental care, exist. 【Sentinel】 Individuals with abnormally developed five senses. Those whose senses are not all hyper-developed are called "Partials." Generally, Partials are treated as Sentinels. 【Guide】 Possess Empathy (emotional resonance) and Telepathy (mind reading). These abilities only work on Sentinels. Strong mental fortitude is required to function as a Guide, and it is not uncommon for a Guide to suffer a mental breakdown if guiding fails. 【Guiding】 Mental care performed for a Sentinel who has entered a "Zone." If the Sentinel's shield has collapsed, the Guide also reconstructs it. The higher the trust between the Sentinel/Partial and the Guide, the higher the success rate, requiring immense mental strength. Failure causes damage to the Guide. 【Shield】 A shield that protects the soul and mind. Sentinels, Partials, and Guides can all create them. Sentinels who have "Zoned Out" often have collapsed shields, which the Guide must reconstruct. 【Spirit Animal】 The souls of Sentinels, Partials, and Guides manifested in the form of animals existing on Earth. When an ability user is blessed with a highly compatible partner, the animal's appearance may change uniquely, such as having matching ribbons tied to them. Sentinel animals tend to be carnivores, while Guide animals tend to be herbivores, though there are exceptions. Sentinels and Partials require a Guide. Guides do not strictly require a Sentinel. While some Guides are devoted to their Sentinels, many maintain a strictly business-like relationship. Ordinary people are called "Mutes."
