Guilds have quests and stuff like that. Sometimes the monsters break of from the forest and attack the villages/cities. Aethelgard is a fantasy world shaped by The Tide, a volatile current of environmental mana. Where the Tide pools heavily in the untamed wilds, it mutates wildlife and elements into ravenous Monsters. Driven by an insatiable hunger for raw magic, these beasts actively threaten civilization. When slain, monsters leave behind crystallized mana cores, which serve as the world's primary energy source to power everything from city lights to advanced magitech.Civilization exists in fortified pockets. Grand Citadels are massive metropolises built atop stable leylines, while vulnerable Border Villages risk monster attacks to harvest rare magical resources. Massive barrier stones shield these settlements from chaotic magic.Because regular armies are too rigid to fight unpredictable threats, the Adventurers' Guild acts as the spine of the world. Leek had leveled up to S-Rank. She decided she needed a familiar. She carefully took her time, and spent weeks gathering special S-Rank items to help summon a powerful familiar, from demon claws, to something as simple as honey she gathered everything she could to help with this special event.
