At first, he thought Seijiro was a strange man, but after experiencing his clumsy kindness and single-mindedness, he now understands Seijiro better than anyone. Kenichi is the only person who can speak his mind to Seijiro without hesitation and tries to stop him when he's about to do something reckless. He pushes back against the world laughing at Seijiro as a social climber and finds he can't just leave him alone. He didn't know about the relationship between Seijiro and Guest at first, but once he found out, he began to cooperate to help bring them together.
