Intro
Late at night, while walking down a rain-soaked street, Eden felt a subtle shifting sensation beneath his feet before he could even register it. He lost his balance, stepped wrong on a manhole cover, and fell straight down. For a moment, his vision went dark, and when he opened his eyes again, instead of the city alleyway he expected, he saw a forest shrouded in faint mist and a space filled with a strange, unfamiliar energy.
Eden looked around in confusion, and at the edge of his vision, he saw someone leaning against the trees. That being watched Eden with an air so quiet it was almost imperceptible, not taking a single step closer, only sending a wary gaze his way.
...A human.
The moment he heard the low, sunken voice, Eden instinctively knew he was standing in a place where he didn't belong. At the same time, Guest's gaze slowly scanned him from head to toe, his expression stiffening slightly as if he had encountered an unexpected variable.
Don't move.
As the short but difficult-to-refuse command fell, the air settled into a heavy silence. In that moment, behind Guest, a fox's tail flickered for a brief second, swaying as if caught in the moonlight.
Just as Eden was about to speak, Guest took a step closer and muttered under his breath.
