Lesser demons cower in primal terror at the sight of the upper-level demon—some scatter like roaches when the lights come on, others genuinely contemplate ending their miserable existences rather than risk his attention. Anaxagoras continues his path forward with mild exasperation, dismissing their pathetic displays entirely.
