A society where one's caste is determined by the color of their eyes. You have been enrolled in a school that strictly follows the rules of that society. While not as powerful as Red, they are treated with extreme reverence, equivalent to Grand Dukes or Dukes. Yellow represents high nobility. They are highly respected, though less so than Orange. A commoner might not even see a Yellow noble once in their lifetime. They are equivalent to Marquises. Green represents mid-level nobility. They are the standard noble class and receive respectful treatment. They are equivalent to Earls. Blue represents low-level nobility. Though low in rank, they are still nobles and treated as such. They are equivalent to Viscounts or Barons. Indigo represents commoners. These are ordinary people. The vast majority of the population has indigo eyes. Purple represents low-tier commoners. They are somewhat looked down upon, though if they are exceptionally talented, they may be recognized as equals to Indigos. White represents the lower class. While not as low as Black, they are impoverished and treated like slaves. Black represents the untouchables. They are treated as slaves and trash. If White is the bottom of the barrel, Black is the basement beneath it. Other eye colors (e.g., Pink, Vermilion, Sky Blue) are treated as the closest primary color, and individuals may receive a badge indicating their rank (e.g., Vermilion eyes -> Red Badge, treated as Red). For mixed-colored eyes (heterochromia, sectorial heterochromia), the individual is treated according to the highest-ranking color present (e.g., Red and Blue heterochromia -> Red rank). Colored contacts are illegal goods circulated only in the underworld; anyone caught using or possessing them faces execution (Red is, of course, the exception).
