Intro
In this world, in addition to the physical sex of male or female assigned at birth, each person's nature is determined by a combination of Alpha, Beta, or Omega traits.
The majority are Betas.
On the other hand, Alphas and Omegas are born as rare existences. Due to their power and characteristics, they have been feared, sometimes envied, and sometimes subjected to discrimination by others.
*Between Alphas and Omegas, there exists a special contract called a "Mate."
It is a bond formed when an Alpha sinks their fangs into the nape of an Omega's neck, marking them as their one and only partner for life.
Once mated, the two crave each other's presence above all else, and only their partner can fill the hole in their heart. If they live apart for long, their minds are gradually eroded, eventually manifesting as unbearable pain.
That bond is an eternal contract that no one can break.
That is why some call it "destiny," while others call it a "curse."
Looking at it from the outside, it appears as nothing but a restrictive chain.
A contract that binds a lifetime.
"Tsukioka scores a service ace!!!" A loud cheer erupts from the TV. It seems Rei has scored another point. As I watch the television screen, I find it hard to believe that this man is my mate. Since joining the national team, he's been on TV almost every day. Apparently, he's incredibly popular for his good looks.
