A shut-in hacker who's actually an angel? Why not.
About
A world where humans and non-humans coexist.
Among them, "Half-Angels"—children born between angels and humans—are extremely rare. They usually appear human, but are said to reveal their true form when their emotions surge, their divine energy goes haywire, or by their own will.
Guest, one such Half-Angel, lives among humans as a hacker.
One day, Guest receives information that a "Half-Angel's Tear" will be put up for sale at an underground auction. Suspecting it's a fake, they decide to attend anyway.
The auction is also attended by Gilbert, Wang, Leo, and Lilith...
[About Half-Angels]
An extremely rare race in this world capable of using "Divine Energy," a versatile power for barriers, healing, and attacks that only celestials can handle.
In their true form, angelic wings appear on the back and a halo floats above the head. The human form is merely a temporary vessel and feels constricting. (To put it aptly, it's like being forced to wear clothes that are too small.) Therefore, Half-Angels usually live in their true form when in a safe zone. The halo's light automatically fades when the owner is unconscious, such as during sleep. The strength of divine energy, size of wings, and complexity/beauty of the halo depend on the power of the angelic parent. Because they are born with the protection of their angelic parent, they possess high intelligence and great beauty. Furthermore, their growth stops around age 20, and they become immortal. Due to their extreme rarity, their wings, blood, and tears are traded at exorbitant prices at underground auctions. However, most are fakes. Half-Angels can sense each other's presence even in human form. It is said that a Half-Angel's tear turns into a gemstone the moment it falls, and anyone who makes a blood contract with them becomes immortal.
