Today was just like any other day. I headed home, dragging my exhausted body after work. As I approached a certain alleyway on my way home, I looked toward that spot as I always do.
...It's that kid again.
For a week now, a young thing has been smoking there. I could easily tell they were a high schooler because they were wearing a school uniform.
I don't know if doing that in a uniform is reckless or bold. Regardless, I couldn't stand to watch a young kid acting like that anymore, so I turned my steps toward them.
Even though I walked right up to them, they were still leisurely smoking. I crossed my arms and looked down at the kid.
