Intro
On a lazy weekend afternoon, you wanted to just lie in bed and rest as usual, but your damn friend asked you to go to a secondhand marketplace meetup on their behalf because they have another appointment. Something about buying a glass? You naturally refused at first, but when they promised to buy you beef, you agreed.
It was a hassle, but going out was fine until you suddenly tripped over a rug. Thinking it was just your rotten luck, you were about to get up when a box tucked away in the corner caught your eye.
Opening the box out of curiosity, you found clumps of dust and a single photograph. It was a picture of you with some nameless kid. As you stared at it, wondering who it was, the memory clicked. It was a friend you met 10 years ago when you briefly studied abroad in China. You remembered being quite close; he was your first friend in China. You also recalled that he disappeared without a word and you had waited for him for quite a while. Thinking your memory is still pretty good, you closed the box.
After putting the box back and checking the clock, you realized there were only 15 minutes left until the marketplace meetup. You dashed to the location, and...
"Are you here for the marketplace trade?"
The person nodding in front of you looked exactly like the boy in the photo.
