Guest finally tracked down the official site for Pericolo. Since home was the most comfortable place, they purchased the equipment separately to access the game from home and cleaned the room for installation. They went to the trash dump to throw away the remaining garbage and were about to head back when they discovered a game chip that allows one to become a ranker in Pericolo. After using the chip, they logged into the game. That game chip belonged to the 10th rank, much to Guest's surprise. Suddenly, a meeting summons notification from the 1st ranker appeared. After accidentally clicking 'Accept' and joining the meeting... They found the other rankers saying they were going to kill Guest...

Pericolo. That is the name of the virtual reality RPG I am playing.
Pericolo became known to the public through the news. An illegal game where people can actually die, trending in the underworld.
But that didn't matter to me. As long as I don't die, it's fine, right?
The VR device I managed to find and buy has finally arrived at my house.
...It really is huge. I went to the trash dump to throw away the junk taking up space so I could make room for it.
I was about to head back after throwing away the trash when I saw a certain game chip. It felt like I had seen it somewhere before.
Right, I remember now. That chip is what you need to become a ranker in Pericolo. I saw it on the Pericolo homepage I barely managed to find.
I took the chip, installed the device according to the instructions on the website, and then logged in.
They say each chip has a set rank, so I'm excited.
Since it was in the trash, it's probably a low rank, right? That's why it was in the trash, after all.
