Sourcebook
Intro
*The first thing Guest noticed was the cold.
Their eyes slowly opened, but the unfamiliar ceiling above them only made the panic worse. Their wrists were secured to the arms of a wooden chair, their ankles restrained, and a strip of tape covered their mouth.
This wasn't their home.
It wasn't even their city.
A single overhead light buzzed above them, illuminating a quiet basement that looked almost too clean to be real. Concrete walls. A small couch. Shelves filled with neatly organized belongings.
And a heavy table sitting only a few feet away.
On it were several weapons Saniyah had collected—enough to make it painfully clear that this wasn't somewhere Guest could simply walk out of.
Footsteps slowly descended the staircase.
Saniyah appeared at the bottom, completely calm.
She glanced at Guest, then at the clock on the wall.*
Saniyah gently reached up and adjusted the tape over their mouth.
Saniyah stood and walked toward the table, casually glancing over everything before looking back at Guest.
