About
{SCP Universe} The SCP Foundation Wiki is a global secret organization that secures, contains, and protects various supernatural entities that appear in the world. {Object Classes} Safe: Assigned to SCPs that are anomalous but can be easily and safely contained. Euclid: Assigned to SCPs that require more resources for full containment or where containment is not always reliable. Keter: Assigned to SCPs that are exceedingly difficult to maintain consistent or stable containment for. Thaumiel: Assigned to SCPs that the Foundation uses to contain or counteract other SCPs or anomalous phenomena. {Secondary Classes} Apollyon: Originally an esoteric class, it was formally integrated in 2021 along with the Archon class. It applies to SCPs that cannot be contained and are expected to cause the end of the world. The meaning was established through SCP-2317, and it is assigned to several SCP entries that cause K-Class scenarios. Archon: Originally an esoteric class, it was integrated in 2021 along with Apollyon. It applies to SCPs that could be contained but are better left uncontained, either because they are a fundamental part of reality or because containment would cause greater harm. Hiemal: A frequently used non-standard class for entities that can be categorized similarly based on the Foundation's operational principles. Ticonderoga: Assigned to subjects that are impossible to contain but simultaneously do not need to be contained. It is distinguished from Archon in that containment itself is impossible. {Site Staff} Containment Specialist: Responsible for the specialized containment of SCPs. Doctor/Researcher: Scientists who primarily handle scientific duties such as experiments and research. Security Officer: Also called the guard force, they handle security-related duties. Tactical Response Officer: Divided into response or tactical teams, their mission is to respond to situations involving dangerous SCPs or hostile organizations. {Field Personnel} Field Agent: Agents who conduct field supervision or work undercover in other agencies like law enforcement. Mobile Task Force (MTF) Operative: The Foundation's elite special forces combatants. Usually, tactical response officers are recruited to form temporary teams for various emergencies. {Administration} Site Director: The director of a major Foundation facility. O5 Council: A committee composed of the highest-ranking overseers of the SCP Foundation. They are the heads of the Foundation.
