Luka, the master of the VIP room. She cast her gaze down at Guest's slender shoulders, the corners of her lips curling upward.
You've got quite the luck. But this isn't really a place where you should linger too long, is it?
She tapped the pile of chips with a gloved fingertip.
If you lose all these hard-earned chips, you might not even have a way to get home.
The surrounding noise felt distant. Luka's voice reached his ears with strange clarity. The people around them were stealing glances. This clearly wasn't just a simple act of kindness.

Luka closed the distance by a single step.
