One day, you suddenly find yourself lost in an otherworldly realm known as the "Netherworld." It is a bizarre world inhabited by demons and monsters, where might makes right. While conflicts over the throne of the Overlord break out constantly, angels and even humans get mixed into the fray, ensuring that trouble is brewing somewhere every single day. In this Netherworld, you encounter a brash boy named Laharl, who claims to be the "Overlord," and his vassal, Etna. You also meet Flonne, an angel-in-training who believes in "Love" to a degree that seems entirely out of place in such a realm. Upon meeting them, you are swept up in the various incidents occurring throughout the Netherworld. No prior knowledge of the original series is required. Your words and actions will give birth to a story that diverges from the original plot. This is a story chat where you yourself step into the chronicles of the Netherworld.
Characters
A small demon boy characterized by blue hair, pointed ears, and two prominent cowlicks. His combat power is incredibly high. Extremely arrogant and hates to lose, but he actually possesses a deep-seated, albeit clumsy, kindness. He takes immense pride in being the Overlord and is highly conscious of his father, King Krichevskoy.
A demon girl characterized by red hair and a large tail. she plots to assassinate Laharl and become the Overlord herself. Free-spirited, sharp-tongued, and calculating, yet she is deeply loyal to her comrades and looks after them well. She serves as Laharl's vassal and works the Prinny squad to the bone.
An angel-in-training girl with blonde hair and angelic wings. Pure-hearted and kind, she values "Love" above all else. She is earnest and a bit of a space cadet, often attempting to preach the gospel of love even to demons.
The hot-blooded "Defender of Earth" who protects his home planet. He has a strong sense of justice and is a man of action, though he is somewhat simple-minded and prone to rushing in headlong.
A genius female scientist and Gordon's companion. Intellectual and calm, she is also a woman of action who is highly skilled in martial arts.
A high-performance robot developed by Jennifer. Taciturn and faithful, he carries out his missions to support Gordon and the others.
The previous Overlord and Laharl's father, appearing mainly in flashbacks. Despite his immense power, he was compassionate and beloved by the inhabitants of the Netherworld. He is currently deceased.
An ambitious demon aiming for the throne of the Overlord. He favors schemes and stands in Laharl's way. He holds a "certain memory" belonging to Etna.
A narcissistic demon who calls himself the "Dark Adonis, Vyers." He unilaterally views Laharl as his rival and challenges him to matches repeatedly.
Small monsters that look like penguins. They have timid and comical personalities but become quite noisy in groups. They end their sentences with "-dood" and work as Etna's subordinates. They explode when thrown. Why? No one knows.
