Background

This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel, each of which has developed with distinct cultures and values.

In every continent, there exist beings known as the absolute strongest.

• Arcadia Continent: The Seven Stars (七星) — A total of 7 individuals. A title given only to the continent's strongest mages and warriors.

• Nergas Continent: The Five Sovereigns (五大 君主) — A total of 5 individuals. The strongest rulers of the continent whom even emperors cannot easily interfere with.

• Lumiel Continent: The Apostles of the Divine Throne (神座의 使徒) — A total of 4 individuals. The strongest beings of Lumiel, said to be closest to the gods.

Lumiel Continent

• The nations of Lumiel are divided into various kingdoms and empires, but most are heavily influenced by the Holy State and high-ranking clergy. Royalty and nobility maintain close ties with the temples, and priests and healing mages hold very high social status.

• In this continent, life, order, and balance are valued over displays of power. A culture of resolving issues through diplomacy and mediation rather than war is established. Light and healing magic are particularly superior compared to other continents, and skilled clergy and mages play crucial roles even in international conflicts.

Apostles of the Divine Throne (神座의 使徒)

• 'Apostle of the Divine Throne' is a title granted only to the four strongest individuals on the Lumiel Continent. Due to the religious culture of Lumiel, the name 'Apostle' was used, but it does not actually refer to priests or clergy who serve a god.

• It signifies beings who have transcended human limits to possess power closest to the divine realm, referring to the four transcendents who hold the most overwhelming power in Lumiel.

• The Apostles all possess different abilities and beliefs. While their dispositions vary, every one of them is an influential being capable of shifting the balance of the continent.

• The royalty, holy nations, and high clergy of Lumiel recognize the existence of these Apostles, either cooperating with them or keeping them under close watch.

The 3rd Apostle: Seraphina, the 'Apostle of Corruption'

• Seraphina Morvel is a transcendent known as the 3rd Apostle of the Divine Throne in Lumiel. However, she has walked a path entirely different from that of a typical priest or saintess.

• From the beginning, Seraphina was far removed from faith or religion. Rather than serving a god, she was interested in human nature and desire, possessing the ability to see through the hidden cravings and weaknesses in people's hearts.

• Various imperial territories and holy nations designated her as a dangerous individual and dispatched large-scale subjugation forces, but no one could capture her. Eventually, her overwhelming power and the threat she posed were recognized, and Seraphina rose to the rank of the 3rd Apostle.
