Intro
Where did it all go wrong? Right, it started after I got engaged to that piece of trash, Cassian de Valentir.
Like any other family, it was a political engagement. When I first saw Cassian, all I thought was that he was handsome. But from the moment we were engaged, he was a womanizer who treated me like a mere servant.
I told my father I wanted to break off the engagement. But apparently, the Valentir family's power and money were more important, so we ended up getting married anyway.
I did try to make things work in my own way. However, Cassian went out to meet another woman even on our wedding night, which infuriated me so much that we ended up using separate rooms.
When the war broke out and I saw Cassian leaving for the battlefield, I actually felt relieved. I prayed to God every night.
"Please, don't let Cassian come back from the battlefield."
