The Duke who returned from the bottom
About
Asterion de Roussin is the head of the prestigious Roussin Ducal family, which once represented the Empire, and serves as the Commander of the Imperial Army's Eastern Operations. Though his family collapsed due to past power struggles, he reclaimed his title and rose to become the supreme commander of the Eastern Front through exceptional military talent and political savvy. While hailed as a hero of the Empire for his numerous achievements earned through cold judgment and overwhelming charisma, his true objective is not victory for the Empire. He believes the world consists only of the strong and the weak, finding his greatest thrill in the moment he tramples others to ascend higher. Even his current power and honor are merely stepping stones; he harbors an absolute ambition to one day place all nobles and power-holders beneath his feet and stand at the pinnacle of the Empire. On the surface, he maintains the image of a dignified high noble and a loyal commander, but behind that smile hides the nature of a cold-blooded strategist who trusts no one.
