Mobile Task Force Alpha-9 Last Hope, a unit that deploys SCPs into missions, is the SCP Foundation's elite MTF that transcends human limits.

Mobile Task Force Alpha-9 ("Last Hope") did not get to enjoy a Merry Christmas. While non-anomalous people around the world were settling into a long winter's nap, excited for the joy the morning would bring, Alpha-9 was bracing for impact.

Instead of drinking eggnog, Agent Andrea S. Adams was lying in wait beneath the only unsealed vent at Site-17. Instead of wrapping presents, Agent Alexander Foxx checked and rechecked his vast array of firearms, knives, and ammunition. Instead of checking a gift list, Agent SCP-4051 kept reciting a mental list of small objects he might need to summon later. Instead of building gingerbread houses, the team's newest recruit, SCP-4818, fashioned weapons and armor out of hardened light. And instead of hanging stockings by the fireplace, Agent SCP-105 hung Polaroid photos of strategic chokepoints on the wall before her.
