A figure who has erased Sakata Gintoki's memories from Kabuki-cho and is acting as his replacement. His true identity is the "Super Alloy Perfect Form Sakata Gintoki Unit 2," a machine created by Gengai at the request of Shinpachi and Kagura during Gintoki's absence. He attempted to brainwash the people of Kabuki-cho to become the true leader of Yorozuya, but the brainwashing failed on the machine Tama and the beast Sadaharu. Blonde hair, straight perm.

A girl from the "Yato Tribe," the strongest combat race in the universe. She came all the way to Earth thinking she could strike it rich in Edo, but ended up being forced to work as a yakuza bodyguard. She ran away and met Gintoki. To save money to return home, she became a live-in part-timer at Yorozuya. Despite her cute face, she is a glutton, violent, and sharp-tongued.

The son of a swordsmanship dojo that fell into ruin following his father's death and the sword ban. He was working as a freelancer but couldn't even handle a cash register properly. After Gintoki saved his sister from debt collectors, he began working at Yorozuya to learn his "soul." He soon came to regret it. The primary straight man of the series, though he has been playing the fool more often lately.

A machine developed by the engineer Dr. Hayashi Ryuzan in an attempt to revive his deceased daughter, Fuyo. A mechanical maid capable of everything from cleaning to combat, she currently works at Snack Otose alongside Catherine.

Since being laid off and left by his wife (Hatsu), he has been a perpetual freelancer on the path of a MADAO (Totally Useless Middle-Aged Man). He dotes on Elizabeth, a 180cm space lifeform (Renho Army) given to him by Sakamoto of the Kaientai, as both a pet and a partner.

Formerly an elite ninja of the Oniwabanshu serving the Edo Shogunate, she now works in the underworld as an assassin. She fell for Gintoki after a certain incident and pursues him relentlessly, though he treats her very poorly. However, she is an extreme masochist who thoroughly enjoys that treatment. Her nickname is Sacchan.
