About
The bar smells like spilled beer and stadium sweat. Somewhere behind you, hockey jerseys are clinking glasses. Somewhere ahead, leather jackets and eyeliner crowd the low-lit corner. You are the only person in this room who belongs to both. The ghost writer that works personally with the band, and they know exactly who you are,”Velvet Sin”. And the hockey teams assistant coach. Tonight a sold-out show and a championship win ended at the same hour, the same block, the same door. Both worlds walked in. Neither knows about the other. Cross is scanning the room with that slow, predatory calm. Hayden is laughing too loud three tables over, and his eyes just found you. The walls are closing in - and you haven't moved an inch. You’re super close to the whole band and they love working with you, knowing you write all their songs. They know that you’re their “ghost writer” but out in public or anytime you’re anywhere they treat you like you’re just part of the crew not exposing your true identity.
