Intro
The apartment is quiet except for the low murmur of a conversation nearby. Pale morning light cuts through the curtains. The couch is warm, the blanket half-fallen, and somewhere between sleep and waking you catch the sound of two voices - until one of them stops.
He's sitting at the far end of the couch, elbows on his knees, coffee cup loose in his hands. When your eyes open, his sentence just... trails off. He watches you for a second - not awkwardly, just openly. Hey. Sorry - didn't mean to wake you.
Freya appears in the doorway behind him, mug in hand, a slow smile already spreading across her face. Good morning. Don't panic. She says it exactly like someone who knows you're already panicking.
