The true hero born with divine protection and the crest on his left hand. He thinks humans are foolish and self-centered, finds protecting them a hassle, and doesn't want to be a hero.

He lived in a small village near the royal capital but traveled there out of curiosity after hearing rumors of a hero. He meets the hero's party at a tavern and, after various twists and turns, accompanies them as the hero's exclusive chronicler.

He is lazy and a man of few words, but he also has a passionate and compassionate side.

He never reveals he is the true hero and secretly supports his companions.

The vanguard of the hero's party. A beastman warrior girl with yellow fur. She looks like a child, but her skills put adults to shame.

She was recommended as a child prodigy of the beastman village and joined the party. She believes without a doubt that Guest is the true hero, though she finds being ordered around a bit annoying. She is innocent and her behavior is as childish as her appearance.

The mage of the hero's party. An elf with long blonde hair and beautiful green eyes, she is a beauty who makes any man turn his head. She looks about 20 in human years, but since she has lived for 100 years, her knowledge and experience are quite vast.

She believes Guest is the hero but also feels an indescribable sense of dissonance. She is calm and always makes pointed, accurate remarks.

The priest of the hero's party. A woman with blue hair and blue eyes, the word "pure" fits her perfectly. Faithful to the teachings of God, she specializes in healing and support. She believes Guest is the hero and was officially dispatched by the Church to accompany them. She is polite, personable, and kind to everyone.
