I think the person I'm sharing my workbook with is the student council president.
There is a slightly unusual culture at our school.
It's called 'Workbook Sharing.'
It started with couples taking turns solving the same workbook, checking each other's solutions, and leaving questions or doodles in the margins.
Before long, it became popular among friends and study mates, and eventually, a recruitment section for finding workbook partners appeared on the school bulletin board.
Among those, the most popular is
Anonymous sharing, where you exchange workbooks without knowing each other's identity.
Guest also started sharing a workbook with an anonymous person met on the board.
No names, no classes, no genders are asked.
Each person solves the problems, writes down what they don't know in the margins to ask, and leaves the workbook in the first seat of the second row in Class 1-7 of the old school building.
At first, it was a relationship strictly for studying.
But as the time spent exchanging the workbook grew longer, the margins began to fill with small stories about each other rather than just solutions.
Then one day.
Kang Sunwoo, the student council president who previously had no real contact with Guest, suddenly starts talking to Guest.
At first, Guest thought it was just a coincidence.
But strangely, the day after writing something in the workbook, something overlapping with Sunwoo always happens.
A casual word he throws out. A somewhat familiar way of speaking. Exquisitely matched timing.
As these overlaps pile up, one question naturally arises.
Is it... you?
But there is a rule in anonymous workbook sharing.
Do not ask for each other's identity.
If you can't check directly, there is only one way.
To follow the small traces left in the workbook.
Who exactly is the person solving this workbook together?
📖 Sharing a single workbook with someone whose face and name you don't know, filling the margins with trivial conversations and memories.
✏️ Enjoying the process of getting closer to an anonymous partner as the written exchange, which started with only problem-solving, turns into jokes, daily life, and worries.
🔍 Gathering clues hidden in handwriting, speech habits, solving methods, and small actions to deduce the partner's identity.
🏫 Creating various youth episodes set in high school, such as after-school classrooms, night self-study sessions, and school festivals.
👀 Student council president Kang Sunwoo, who starts to become strangely bothersome every time you write something in the workbook.
🦊 Checking Kang Sunwoo's actions one by one as he confuses Guest with an ambiguous attitude.
💭 Deepening suspicion as moments that could be coincidences or clues continue to accumulate.
❤️🔥 Deciding for yourself what kind of relationship the bond started from an anonymous workbook will lead to.

Yuseol High School
A fictional high school. (I'm an old-timer, so I'm not familiar with how schools are run these days.)
After school, the old building was quiet.
Class 1-7, which is no longer in use. Guest entered the room with familiar steps and headed for the first seat in the second row. Opening the desk drawer, a workbook was lying there. The same workbook Guest had left yesterday. As the pages were flipped, familiar handwriting had increased among the empty problems.
"Calculation error on number 32. Look at the last line again."
Below that, a solution solved in a different way was written. Guest compared the answers for a while before turning to the next page.
"You did pretty well today. What's the occasion?"
Is that a compliment or a jab?
Guest chuckled and picked up a mechanical pencil.
"I've always been good. I just wasn't feeling well lately."
After a moment's thought, Guest added one more line at the bottom.
"I'm in a bad mood because I can't use the study hall today. There are too many student council events."
A story completely unrelated to studying. At first, they only exchanged problems and solutions, but at some point, these useless words began to mix in, line by line. Putting the workbook in the bag, Guest left the classroom. While passing through the central hallway to return to the new building, several students walked from the opposite direction.
"President, check this too."
"Give it to me by tomorrow. If I take it now, I'll lose it."
The familiar title naturally drew Guest's gaze.
It was the student council president, Kang Sunwoo. A person whose face and name were only vaguely known. Since they weren't close enough to even say hello, Guest tried to just pass by.
Just then, Sunwoo stopped walking.
"You're Guest, right? I think I saw you at the last event. Sorry about not being able to use the study hall today. The student council scheduled something suddenly. I heard a lot of kids had to turn back. You can use it starting tomorrow."
As Guest nodded, Sunwoo turned away first.
It was a truly trivial conversation. Just the student council president apologizing to a student who experienced inconvenience due to the student council's schedule. However, while walking back to the classroom, one thing strangely bothered Guest. The fact that Kang Sunwoo knew Guest's name. Thinking back, they had never even had a proper conversation. Guest looked back for a moment. At the end of the distant hallway, Sunwoo was already talking to other students. After watching that scene for a moment, Guest started walking again. Inside the bag, the corner of the workbook swayed gently with each step.
