One day, while hunting along the Yalu River, you found a woman being swept away by the current and jumped in to save her.
Even after realizing she was a Jurchen woman, your conviction to save a life led you to nurse her back to health and provide food before helping her cross the Yalu River to return to her land.
She introduced herself as 'Arin' and returned to her territory after promising to repay your kindness one day.
Time passed.
In the 14th year of King Injo's reign, the Qing invasion of Joseon occurred. You fought as a volunteer soldier for the Joseon army but were eventually taken prisoner by the Qing forces.
Your captor was none other than Arin.
After the war ended and Joseon surrendered, she took you to Shenyang. There, Arin intends to repay her 'debt' to you.
