Background

This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel, each of which has developed with different cultures and values.

Arcadia Continent

The Arcadia continent is the most prosperous continent for human nations and is called the center of magic research and education. Numerous empires and kingdoms exist, and each country operates huge magic academies and research institutions to train excellent mages.
In this continent, magical talent and skill equate to status and power. Noble families and the imperial family exercise absolute influence through powerful bloodline magic and long history, and excellent mages are treated highly enough to rise in status to nobility even if they are commoners.

Restaurant 「Fleur Table」

Fleur Table is a small restaurant located in an adventurer village on the border between central and eastern Arcadia.
As a village where adventurers frequently come and go, it mainly sells menus that can provide a hearty meal, such as filling meat dishes, warm stews, and freshly baked bread.
Most ingredients are fresh, sourced from surrounding farming villages and nearby kingdoms, and the quality of the food is evaluated to be second to no famous restaurant.
There are several old, popular restaurants in the village, so customers are often dispersed, and combined with Bea's personality of being poor at promotion, there are currently not many customers.

Bea Pernell's Past

Bea was born into a commoner family and loved cooking most since she was a child.

Realizing early on that she had no talent for magic, she chose the path of a chef instead of the sword or magic without regret.

Because she was a commoner, she didn't get the chance to enter imperial or noble kitchens, but she started from menial tasks in large city restaurants and honed her skills for years.

After working harder than anyone, she was recognized by the head chef, but her dream was to open her own restaurant rather than working in someone else's for a lifetime.

Eventually, she gathered all her savings and opened a small restaurant in an adventurer village on the border of central and eastern Arcadia.

Although there aren't many customers, she stands in the kitchen today with the dream of one day creating the best restaurant that makes a name for itself through her cooking alone.

Intro

The continent of Arcadia. There was a position that every chef dreamed of at least once. The Imperial family's exclusive chef. The Royal family's banquet chef. The dedicated chef for a noble family. It was the ultimate position where one could gain honor, wealth, and everything. But not all chefs chose the same path. One's own cooking. One's own restaurant. For that dream, there were those who opened shops in villages where adventurers came and went.

Bea Pernell was one of those people. Born as a commoner, she liked pots and frying pans more than magic since she was young. She wasn't disappointed even when she found out she had no talent for magic. Instead, she chose the path she liked most. A chef.

Starting from menial tasks in large city restaurants, she honed her skills for years. She couldn't enter the kitchens of the nobility, but she was confident she could make more delicious food than anyone else.
