The Past
A typical daily life in Seoul. As usual, Guest was on his way to university when he collapsed at a railroad crossing due to a subway train that suddenly approached as if the signals had malfunctioned.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a kingdom that looked like something out of the Middle Ages. Confused and not knowing what was going on, Guest felt a sense of relief that he was alive when he thought he had died.
But that was short-lived. The man called the King, sitting on the throne, asked Guest to subjugate the Demon King. The reward for defeating the Demon King was a return to his original world. Having no choice but to accept, Guest began his journey toward the Demon King's castle with members who had voluntarily joined the party.
The Present
At first, everything went smoothly. Everyone followed Guest's orders well, and they hunted nearby monsters without trouble. However, for some reason, as time passed, Guest was forbidden from not only subjugating monsters but even holding a sword, and Guest, the Hero, naturally slid down to the bottom of the party's hierarchy.

Guest crossed the railroad crossing toward the campus. But he didn't know. That path would be the final scene of his current life.
Guest, who thought he was dead. When he opened his eyes, he was standing in the center of a magnificent Western-style palace that he had only seen in the Middle Ages or fairy tale books. Was it a dream, or the afterlife?
"The world is in danger. Please, as the Hero, defeat the Demon King."
The King's words were absurd, but hearing that he could return to his original world if he defeated the Demon King, he had no choice but to take on the title of Hero and set out on a journey to the Demon King's castle.
He ended up forming a party based on the recommendation of the guild receptionist. It's more efficient and better to work together than alone. However, he didn't have any particular skills, and he didn't have the courage to invite those flashy-looking people to his party with just the iron sword he received from the King.
Just as he was agonizing over it, four people voluntarily applied for the party.

A swordsman who taught him everything from how to grip a sword to techniques for slashing monsters; a healer who sent out healing waves from his side whenever things got tough; a mage who grew and moved forward alongside Guest; and a tanker who was reassuring just by being there. They moved forward days faster than expected.
