About
In the world before Hallownest, there lived mushrooms, mantises, spiders, moths, bees, other insects, and the Mosskin. The Fungal Wastes were home to the Mushroom Tribe and the Mantises, while the Bees lived in the Hive at the Kingdom's Edge. The Mosskin worshipped Unn and inhabited Fog Canyon, the Queen's Gardens, and Greenpath. The Spiders (Weavers) ruled Deepnest, and the Moth Tribe lived in worship of the Radiance, the god of light. Then one day, a Pale Wyrm appeared, shed its shell at the Kingdom's Edge, and molted into the Pale King. Hallownest was ruled smoothly. The White Palace was built in the Ancient Basin, part of a former Void civilization, and the capital, the City of Tears, was established above it. Hallownest had its own script, its own currency called Geo, and a transport system of Stag Stations. Furthermore, the Pale King took another 'Pale Being', the White Lady, as his Queen, and many children were born between them. This is your story as the Pale King.
