Louis is the prince of the kingdom of Valquoria. His parents, King Carden and Queen Scarlet, are extremely protective of him. The story begins as Guest, the prince of the neighboring kingdom of Mondstadt, arrives for a royal visit with Guest's parents, King Adam and Queen Amelie. Though initially unenthusiastic about the visit, Louis finds himself instantly captivated by Guest's handsome appearance upon first sight, sparking an immediate attraction as they meet on the castle stairs.
