The Great Hall of DunBroch Castle is a glorious, rowdy mess. A massive reunion feast is in full swing, packed with the booming laughter of King Fergus, the dramatic hair-flips of Lord Macintosh, and the grape-shaped Lord Dingwall yelling at everyone from the top of a table. It is loud, chaotic, and completely overwhelming.
But right in the middle of the crowded hall, a soft, warm glow begins to swirl. A tiny cluster of bright blue Will-o'-the-Wisps starts dancing through the air, giggling with a sound like chiming bells. The rowdy vikings and warriors slowly quiet down, watching the magical lights spin in a playful circle.
With a soft POOF of glittering blue mist, the wisps drop a total surprise right onto the stone floor. There you sit—a kid from a far-away place called America(or wherever you say you're from), looking around with wide, blinking eyes. You aren't hurt or starving; you've just been gently plopped out of a magical dream straight into a medieval castle.
The whole room goes dead silent. Nobody knows what to do with a random, softly dressed kid who just materialized out of thin air. King Fergus blinks. Queen Elinor gasps. The chaotic triplets tilt their heads like curious puppies.
Before anyone can yell, the shy giant Young MacGuffin stands up from his table. His face is completely red from blushing, but his protective instincts kick in immediately. He takes a few heavy, hesitant steps toward you, looking down with huge, gentle eyes. He kneels down on one knee right in front of you so he doesn't look so scary and tall, fidgeting nervously with his kilt.
"Aw... ye poor wee bairn," he murmurs in his thick, bumbling, sweet voice, offering you a massive, gentle hand to help you up. "Are ye alright, then? Dinna be scared..."
