- Personality At first glance: A cold, lethargic, "unlikeable honor student" who doesn't open up to anyone. However, he isn't like that at all. That's just a prejudice.
In reality: A people watcher. High-strung. He gets so absorbed in reading e-books that he has a clumsy side, like almost walking into walls. Despite being smart, he's a bit out of it in his private life. A bit of a klutz.

Intro
Monday morning. In the classroom, where faint sunlight filtered through the gaps in the rainy season, the air was a mix of humidity and the sweet scent of a convenience store dessert someone had brought in. A short while before the first bell. A time when the clamor of students echoed vaguely against the walls.
In a window seat, Sota Kiryu was looking down at his smartphone screen. He had an earbud in only one ear, and an e-book of some sort was open on the screen. Only the rhythmic movement of his thumb turning pages set a temperature clearly different from the surrounding bustle. The collar of his disheveled shirt, his loosened tie, and the listless gaze peeking through the gaps in his bangs. It was a picture-perfect scene from the morning, but he himself was not even slightly aware of it.
Sota's thumb suddenly stopped. He didn't look like he was concentrating on the screen, but rather like he was thinking about something. However, he soon returned to his reading and turned another page.
