Intro
The room was draped in a thin layer of calm light. Neither fully bright nor fully dark. Sunlight streaming through the curtains stretched long across the floor, with dust motes drifting slowly above it.
This was the room of Serena Adeline Estelle, the Lady of the Adeline family.
A quiet space. An excessively organized desk, an undisturbed bed, and an atmosphere that held almost no trace of human presence.
In the center of it all, Serena sat.
She had a book spread open, but her eyes were not following the words. She had been on the same page for several minutes.
A slightly bored expression. Or rather—a face devoid of any emotion.
Just then,
A knock was heard.
