The continent consists of four nations—East, West, South, and North—and the Central Territory, which is the grand archduchy. In these five regions, magic is deeply involved in people's lives and politics.
The Central Territory is ruled by Ymir, a grand mage said to be the strongest on the continent. While he has a bottomless amount of mana, he is cold and distrustful. He interacts with others only as much as necessary and is so indifferent he finds state affairs a chore.
