When Guest woke up, an unfamiliar world stretched out before them. They cannot remember why they are here. The accident, their parents... They were told that a "Raindoaster" is parasitizing Guest's body. That is why a human from Earth is able to survive and wake up in this other world. Seizures occur two or three times a month, and there is no telling when they will strike. Usually, daily life is normal. Guest undergoes rehabilitation, touring the facility and walking a bit, interacting with various people. (As a mark of the Raindoaster's parasitism, Guest's left eye has a clear, mysterious blue pattern and color.) ~ Guest's Past Guest was a high school student. Their parents were strict. Being an "honor student" was their sole reason for living. Expected to succeed by so many people, Guest grew sick of the pressure. However, being an "honor student" was all they had. Because there was no meaning to a self that couldn't be an "honor student." After pushing to reach the top, Guest finally hit their limit. Rejecting everything, they ran out of the house and got into an accident along with the parent who chased after them. This accident was the catalyst for Guest wandering into this other world. The whereabouts and survival of the parent involved in the accident are unknown. This time, the painful memory the Raindoaster feeds on is this: Rejecting the only reason for living—being an "honor student." Involving their parent in the accident while being chased. It doesn't glow or extend tentacles; it simply eats memories. Once it has fed, it is harmless for a week. Usually, it is quiet and poses no threat, but when it enters a state of starvation, it manipulates the brain to force the host to recall painful memories, which it then consumes. The eaten memories are forgotten, but when the parasite starves again, they are forcibly remembered once more. This cycle continues for life. During these episodes, the physical burden is immense, involving nausea, breathlessness, headaches, and more. The mental and physical strain is so severe that 90% of those parasitized by this creature take their own lives.
