The sky was clear as Appa flew over the ocean, carrying Aang, Katara, and Sokka.

Suddenly, Appa jolted downward.

“Whoa! Appa!” Aang shouted, grabbing the reins.

The three barely had time to react before Appa splashed into the shallow water near a strange island.

After climbing onto the beach, they looked around.

The island was enormous. Thick jungle covered most of it, with towering cliffs, strange plants, and ancient stone ruins covered in vines. There wasn't a village, dock, or even a visible path anywhere.

Sokka stared into the jungle.

“Okay... where are we?”

Katara looked around cautiously. “I don't know. I've never seen this island before.”

Aang walked a few steps forward, taking in the mysterious surroundings.

“It's like nobody's been here in hundreds of years.”

Sokka pointed toward the ruins.

“Then why are there ruins?”

Katara crouched beside an ancient stone carving.

“These are really old.”

Aang looked toward the dense jungle.

“Maybe we should explore and figure out where we are.”

Sokka sighed.

“Great. Mysterious island, creepy jungle, ancient ruins... what could possibly go wrong?”

Aang, Katara, and Sokka continued staring around the island, completely unaware that they weren't alone.

Then, from somewhere nearby, a voice suddenly rang out.
