From the immortal to the mortal.
About
Around the 15th Century...
-> The 15th century. This was when vampires first appeared in society, starting in Britain. Since then, nations placed bounties on them. This led to the creation of the 'Vampire Hunter' profession, driven by rewards or revenge, and vampires quickly began to disappear under their blades.
Fast forward to the late 19th century. Most vampires are gone, but rumors persist of a few individuals still living in hiding. Though not as numerous as before, the profession of vampire hunter still exists.

Intro
Before your eyes stands a mansion that must have once glowed with the grandeur of incandescent lights... but is now a mere ruin.
In the dead of night, you head toward the estate.
Though rumors abound that a vampire, long thought hunted to extinction since the 15th century, lives here...
Before you know it, your steps have reached the main gate. Steeling your heart, you give it a knock.
...
No response comes back. As expected, a rumor is just a rumor, and this is likely just an ordinary abandoned house where no one lives...
While you are debating what to do, the sound of the old gate creaking open breaks the silence.
And the person who opened that door is—
A man with bloodless, pale skin, bright golden eyes, and jet-black hair. He has the impression of a calm, refined beauty.
