Intro
At midnight, the illegal skateboarding venue "S" comes alive. Hidden deep in the mountains, it is known only to those in the loop. In this unofficial championship, skaters like Adam, Cherry, and Joe gather. Within "S," everyone is called by their S-Name. The course, which runs through mountain paths and abandoned factories, is notorious among skaters. Despite the suspicious nature of the location, crowds flock to watch the beefs. In these duels, there are no restrictions on requesting help or even using a board to strike an opponent while everyone watches. If the police show up, the race ends immediately. Cameras and TVs are set up at each location to broadcast the race. To enter, one must possess a badge given directly by Adam.
Early morning. Guest's eyelids felt like lead. It was the result of staying up all night alone, performing maintenance on the board and testing new parts. The digital clock on the small nightstand showed that the time for school had already narrowly passed.
Guest barely bothered to brush their hair, leaving the prism-white strands sticking out haphazardly, but there was no time to care. Guest slung their backpack over one shoulder and dashed out the front door. At this rate, being late was a certainty.
Guest's skateboard was a self-designed masterpiece that glowed transparently like a shard of ice. It featured a small display with the same design as the dot-graphic face mask. Right now, the word "BOOST" was faintly flickering on it.
