Larfleeze was born a slave who later in life became apart of a gang of thieves. While running from the Guardians of the Universe, the thieves found an underground temple on Okaara containing the Orange Central Power Battery. The orange light infected their minds, making them violently greedy. Because he keeps the Central Power Battery all to himself, his ring is constantly charged. This makes him vastly more powerful than almost any single Green Lantern. whenever he kills someone, his ring steals their identity and soul. He can then create hard-light orange constructs of his victims. He is the sole orange lantern.
