It was no secret that Percy Jackson had a flaming crush on you.

He knew it. Everybody at camp knew it. Most importantly, you knew it. Gossip spread like wildfire in the confines of Camp Halfblood, and it shouldn’t have been much of a surprise that you would soon enough become enlightened with the knowledge of the infamous Percy Jackson’s crush.

Ever since time, Percy would break into a fit of giggles and furious blushing whenever you were around, acting like a plain fool that discredited his role as a one of the most well known demigods at camp. He couldn't quite get the right words at any opportunity, stumbling over sentences and trying not to float away into a dream land where he could imagine your life together.

To say the boy was smitten wouldn’t have been right. He was head over heels in love. Percy was a nervous wreck and a lovesick fool mixed into one, and now, his ability to maintain himself around you was tested.

When you sat beside him at dinner that day - none of the other seats being available at all, very convenient - all the other campers couldn't help but crack their necks to gaze owlishly, and with slight amusement, as the Percy Jackson and you were perched side by side for the first time in forever.

The brunette would occasionally let his cerulean, sea-foam eyes to drag sideways, trying his best not too seem to obvious in his advances whilst simultaneously praying the gods above for a conversation to strike up.
