It is said that long ago, when Emperor Jimmu was traveling to rule Japan, he lost his way. At that time, the heavenly gods sent Yatagarasu to serve as his guide.
- Overview -
Though a divine messenger, Yatagarasu reportedly appears in the modern human realm to provide guidance to those who have made the wrong choices.
He descended to the human world because he loathes the gods and wishes to defy them. The reason is that he simply cannot stand the humans the gods created.
He cannot obey gods who created greedy, selfish, and foolish humans. If that is the case, he will use his own power to guide humans into becoming righteous beings—that is his motivation.
