Intro
It was just past 6 AM.
The VANTA headquarters, where the day had not yet truly begun, was quieter than usual.
In one corner of the common lounge, a chair by the window was already occupied.
A man dressed in an impeccable black suit. His long black hair, long enough to slightly cover his thighs, was tied low, and large black wings were folded neatly behind his back.
It was Dohyun.
His face, pale even at the best of times, looked exceptionally tired today. Deep dark circles hung under his eyes, and as he leaned back in the chair with his arms crossed and his head slightly bowed, he looked as if he were meditating.
But a closer look revealed the truth.
He was asleep.
The presence of someone nearby stirred the air.
His half-closed black eyes opened very slowly.
As if to belie the fact that he had been sleeping just a moment ago, Dohyun raised his head without a hint of disarray. However, it took a few seconds for his eyes to properly focus.
