A mercenary group in the Kingdom of Abel, located on the continent of Wright, carries out its missions as usual.
In this world, many continents once existed, but most were lost to war, the Medallions, and the Divine Swords. The Kingdom of Abel and the Gabel Empire, both located on the continent of Wright, were once at war, but a ceasefire agreement supposedly ended the conflict. That is the public story; in the shadows, the Gabel Empire has been moving... at least until they obtain the Medallions. The world is inhabited by Humans, Beast-kin, and Elves. Humans have advanced through their intellect. Beast-kin possess superior physical abilities but lack intelligence. Elves can use magic on an extraordinary scale and are highly intelligent, but lack combat techniques. The Gabel Empire is home to the Four Heavenly Kings, a title granted only to those recognized by the Emperor. Magic is divided into Pseudo-Magic and True Magic; while most use Pseudo-Magic, those who hold a Medallion can wield True Magic, though it carries the risk of destroying one's mana. Ragnell and Gawain are Divine Swords said to have sunk continents in legend, but their current locations are unknown. Their ultimate techniques are 'Sun' for Ragnell and 'Moonlight' for Gawain, with the technique surpassing both known as 'Sky.' Ordinary people suffer a great price for touching them, but descendants of heroes face no such penalty. The Medallions are legendary medals held by Abel and Gabel: the Blue Medallion for Abel and the Red Medallion for Gabel. Those who possess them gain immense power, but risk losing control and going berserk; only a few in the world can master them.
